**Job Purpose**

As a PR freelancer, the primary aim is to effectively manage public relations activities to enhance brand’s

visibility and reputation, ultimately contributing to the growth of the business.

**Primary Job Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute PR strategies to promote the brand and its offerings.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure press coverage

and partnerships.
- Create compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Coordinate press events, product launches, and other PR activities.
- Serve as the spokesperson for the brand, handling media inquiries and interviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR efforts align with overall marketing and business

objectives.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing regular reports and insights.

**Major KRAs**
- Increase brand visibility and awareness through successful PR campaigns.
- Secure media coverage in key publications and outlets.
- Enhance the brand's reputation and public perception.
- Foster positive relationships with media contacts and industry influencers.
- Monitor and manage crisis communication effectively.

**Specific Knowledge & Skills**
- Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling PR materials and

effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in media relations and understanding of journalistic practices.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative PR strategies.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and PR management tools.
- Behavioural skills including leadership, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.

**Qualification and Experience**

Minimum Qualification Graduate, Masters or relevant work experience

Preferred Qualification Graduate or MBA, or any Marketing Management Certification is preferable
