**Job Description: Residential Psychiatrist at Abhasa Rehabilitation & Wellness Home, Karjat**
**Position Overview**:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Residential Psychiatrist to join our team at Abhasa Rehabilitation & Wellness Home in Karjat. As a Residential Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care and support to our residents who are seeking treatment for various mental health issues. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being and recovery of our residents.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Clinical Assessment**: Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, to determine the individualized treatment needs of each resident.
**Treatment Planning**: Develop personalized treatment plans for residents that may include a combination of psychotherapy, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions based on their clinical needs.
**Medication Management**: Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as necessary to address residents' mental health symptoms and progress.
**Individual and Group Therapy**: Provide individual psychotherapy sessions to residents, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Lead group therapy sessions to address common issues and promote therapeutic community interactions.
**Crisis Intervention**: Manage and respond to psychiatric crises effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Collaborate with the clinical team to develop crisis intervention plans.
**Collaborative Care**: Work closely with other medical professionals, therapists, social workers, and support staff to provide holistic care to residents. Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss residents' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
**Documentation**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
**Family Engagement**: Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support, involving them in the treatment process whenever appropriate.
**Education and Training**: Contribute to the ongoing education and training of staff, interns, and trainees on mental health topics and best practices.
**Quality Improvement**: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness of the treatment program and patient outcomes.
**Qualifications**:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialization in Psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Board certification or eligibility for board certification in Psychiatry.
- Experience in providing psychiatric care to individuals with a wide range of mental health disorders.
- Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with mental health challenges.

**Salary**: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
