**Job Role: Merchandiser in a Textile Manufacturing Company**
**Overview**:
The Merchandiser plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between product development, production, and sales within a têxtile manufacturing company. This position is responsible for ensuring that têxtile products meet market demands while maintaining quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product Development**:
- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop new têxtile products.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform product design.
- **Sourcing**:
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials and components.
- Ensure that all sourced materials meet quality and compliance standards.
- **Market Analysis**:
- Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor offerings, and consumer preferences.
- Provide insights to guide product positioning and pricing strategies.
- **Order Management**:
- Oversee the order process from production planning to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage reorders to ensure product availability.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure products meet specifications.
- Address any quality issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
- **Sales Support**:
- Work closely with the sales team to provide product information, samples, and marketing materials.
- Assist in training sales staff on new products and features.
- **Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and market performance.
- Prepare regular reports to present to management for strategic decision-making.
- **Collaboration**:
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and logistics, to streamline processes.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in merchandising within the têxtile or fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of têxtile products and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.

Pay: ₹10,309.00 - ₹40,939.00 per month
