**JOB DESCRIPTION OF OPTOMETRIST SALARY NO:_____**

**Key Responsibilities**

Ø First Interaction with patients

Ø Optometrist: The first clinical staff to interact with all patients which include:

- Private consulting patients
- EHS patients
- Indoor patients
- Staff patients

Ø Followed by:

- Taking brief history
- Taking vision
- Doing Auto Refractometry and Lensometery
- Doing Refraction - Distance and Near
- Colour vision testing

Ø Managing diagnostic procedure

Ø Optometrist are involved in primary helping in diagnosis with diagnostic procedure as below:

- Biometry + IOL calculation
- Perimetry testing
- Corneal Topography testing
- Coreneal Pachymetry testing
- Amslers gir testing
- Intra Ocular Pressure + Applanation tonometry Testing
- Fundus Photography
- Sac Syringing Testing
- Retinoscopy testing
- Schirmer’s testing
- Giving glasses prescriptions
- Diplopia charting testing

Managing Free OPD involved in helping smooth functioning of Free OPD everyday

Managing Trainee Optometrist involved in teaching various Optometrist posted in the department

Managing maintenance of equipment informing biomedical department and company people via sister-in-charge

Keeping A-Scan reports monthly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: ₹8,166.93 - ₹10,000.00 per month
