**Job Purpose**

The Office Assistant will ensure the office's efficient and smooth day-to-day operations. The role holder will support team members, office requirements and general administrative activities in line with the policies and procedures of Starfish.

Job Responsibilities

1. Expertly manage the pantry and stationery requirements. Liaise with suppliers for competitive rates.

2. Ensure resources are replenished and water dispensers are refilled. Notify concerned authorities about replenishing stock.

3. Capably manage and perform the photocopying, scanning and filing requests from staff.

4. Ensure the printer &photocopiers have sufficient paper and toner and restock as required.

5. Arrange for spiral binding and lamination of documents as required.

6. Support the management of incoming and outgoing communication such as telephone enquiries, posts, files and/or other records.

7. Respond to enquiries from employees within the organization and from guests. Direct guests as appropriately required.

8. Respond to telephone calls and relay messages to respective employees as required.

9. Collect incoming posts/files/records appropriately. Sort and arrange for dispatch to individual members of staff. Manage outgoing mail likewise.

10. Manage the dispatch of couriers and receipts under the guidance of the Accounts Department.

11. Supervise and support housekeeping and security. Ensure cleaning materials are stocked.

12. Check hygiene and order are maintained in the office and its surroundings

13. Follow up with regard to plumbing or electrical requirements within the compliance of security, health and safety standards.

14. Coordinate with the internet, net setter, and telephone service providers and liaise with laptop and desktop servicing vendors.

15. Manage the office keys, tagging, identifying requirements for spare keys and arranging the duplicate keys.

16. Check and verify the fixed assets of the Office.

17. Monitor and submit reports related to social media posting by promotors.

Qualifications:

- High School degree

**Experience**:

- A minimum of a year’s proven experience as an administrative assistant.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good oral and fairly good written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

**Salary**: 10,000.00 - 15,000.00 [based on demonstrated experience]

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
