**About the Department / Vertical/ Section**

**Purpose of the role**:
To achieve strategic priorities of EV business through effective policy deployment process for the NPD cluster by conducting thorough internal/external environment scan and by timely implementation of fact based, analysis-based review control mechanism along with risk mitigation plans.

**Role Description**

**Research & Insights**:
**Market and customer understanding**
- Customer understanding, Opportunity mapping & In-sighting
- Understand market segmentation through analysis of various factors such as geography, customer usage, etc.

Trends
- Visualizing and capturing trends such as Design, Technology, Features, etc.

Competitive analysis
- Developing competitive analysis on various companies market offerings, pricing/business models and method of operation
- Competitive intelligence in terms of product, technology, diversification, partnerships
- Benchmarking

**Policy planning**:
Integrate and interface
- Integration of targets, major measures and action plans across functions / clusters to align with business objectives
- Facilitate interfacing among cross-functional departments to deliver major measures setup for the year towards the business
- Support in Integration of LRP in annual plans
- Providing inputs to Volume and capacity planning
- Creating, managing and implementing product life cycle plans for existing products with timely refreshes and full model changes
- Product initiation (DR0)
- Prioritizing product features and capabilities
- Product differentiation & positioning
- Prioritizing projects

**Policy deployment and review**:
Deployment
- Drive policy deployment
- Set up policy room - ECM & VCS structure for the year & ensure tracking DWM closely

Review
- Conduct Monthly Performance Review - Plan agenda based on variance, opportunity areas.
- Circulate minutes of meeting and track progress
- Interface and resolve BNE's with stake holders
- Prepare risk mitigation plans

Reporting
- Producing management reports, MIS and digital dashboards
- Prepare content for Management reviews and Quarterly Board Meeting

Data analysis
- Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations

Regulatory and policy tracking

**Managing points (Key KPI/KRA’s)**
- Prepare 12Qtr integrated Product and Technology Road map and update periodically based on management inputs.
- Prepare business cases for new concepts and technology integration
- Produce management reports, MIS, and content for executive and board meetings
- Ensure alignment with policy deployment through ECM and VCS structures
- Facilitate integration of targets and measures across departments
- Conduct comprehensive market and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop detailed competitive analysis and benchmarking reports
