**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**:

- Oversee the end-to-end production process of customized seat covers and other furniture products.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and production teams to ensure production schedules are met.
- Monitor production timelines and quality standards, ensuring products meet both company specifications and client expectations.
- Ensure that the production area is well-organized, safe, and in compliance with all health and safety standards.
- **Costing and Budgeting**:

- Assist in creating accurate and detailed costings for each product based on raw materials, labor, and overheads.
- Work closely with the finance and design teams to develop and refine costing models.
- Identify areas where costs can be optimized without compromising on quality.
- Review production costs regularly to ensure profitability and identify any cost discrepancies or inefficiencies.
- **Quality Control**:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures at various stages of the production process.
- Conduct periodic quality checks and ensure that the finished products align with the required specifications.
- Address and resolve any quality-related issues in collaboration with the production and quality assurance teams.
- **Inventory and Resource Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of production output, waste, and raw material usage.
- **Team Coordination and Leadership**:

- Supervise and manage production staff, ensuring proper training and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, ensuring that team members are working efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with the logistics and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of completed products to clients.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as output, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to production activities, including schedules, work orders, and quality inspection reports.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for improving production processes, quality standards, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Propose and implement changes to improve efficiency and product quality, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production management.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the furniture or related industries.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management.
- Proficient in using production management software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively across teams and with external suppliers.
- Knowledge of inventory management and resource planning is a plus.
