**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Maintain confidentiality of patient related data.
- Routine cleaning and maintenance of lab instruments with the help of lab assistant/lab attendant.
- Keeping a close watch on work carried out by lab assistant and attendant.
- Checking the reagents in instruments on daily basis for their quality and quantity and replacing them as and when required.
- Carry out whole procedure of stained and mounted slide preparation from grossed specimen including frozen sections.
- Carry out whole procedure of immunohistochemistry slide preparation.
- Carry out whole procedure of stained and mounted slide preparation from various cytology specimens.
- Assisting pathologist in grossing, FNA and other procedures.
- Attending the reception area & its work in the absence of receptionist.
- Assisting lab in-charge in maintenance of stocks of consumables and their records.
- Assisting lab in-charge in maintaining records of all bills.
- Put requisition for required material and follow it up till material received in lab in absence of lab in charge.
- Assistance in archiving the relevant pathology specimen, slides and blocks of all cases.
- Observing laboratory safety precautions in handling clinical specimens, lab reagents and running of tests.
- Ensure Preparation of reagents and solution for lab use.
- Training of new technical staff.
- Keep a close watch on healthy performance of all the instruments. To report any malfunctioning of instrument to the lab in-charge and in the absence of lab incharge, tobiomedical engineering department representative and follow it up till its resolution.

Pay: ₹8,333.34 - ₹29,136.56 per month
