- Having 3 - 8 Yrs of experience in ETL testing.
- Understanding of DWH concepts and experience in writing complex SQL queries
- Interpreting and writing source to target mappings (ETL transformation rules)
- Strong proficiency in Python and Unix/Shell Scripting
- Experience in complex ETL mappings, mapplets and complex transformations testing.
- Ability to develop ETL test scripts based on technical specifications/Data design documents and Source to Target mappings.
- Exposure to end-to-end data validation for ETL and BI systems
- Exposure to DB tools like Toad/PL SQL developer/SQL Plus/SQL server management studio
- Sound knowledge in Various Testing Methodologies, Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Reports etc.,
- Lead and train the team to implement ETL testing methodologies and procedures
- Validate testing activities progress and issues, propose workaround solutions when necessary
- Coordinate with customers, other teams and ensure that test activities follow standards and best practices
- Good Communication Skills
- Prioritization and time management.
