**Roles and Responsibility**

Job Title: Automation Testing

Experience: 3-8 years

Notice period: Immediate to 15 days

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
- Create test plans, test cases, and test data sets for both manual and automated testing.
- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects using bug tracking tools.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on risk, complexity, and frequency of use.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing.
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing as part of the release validation process.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues, reproduce defects, and verify bug fixes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing roles.
- Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
- ISTQB or similar software testing certifications are a plus.
