Speech Language Pathologist/audiologist

**Position: Audiologist and speech Therapist**

The Community Health Division of Bangalore Baptist Hospital is the implementing agency for the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC) located in Bangalore Rural District.

This is a collaborative project with the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens. We operate early intervention centers that provide services for children with developmental delays and disabilities. Our child-friendly, multidisciplinary setup offers physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, special education, and parental support

**Qualification, Skills & personality traits**

BASLP / MASLP in speech and hearing with work experience of 1-2 years in relevant field, freshers can also apply

**Should know to speak and read Kannada language**

Good Communication skills

Working Knowledge of computers well versed with use of Microsoft Office.

- **Intervention and Therapy Planning**:

- Speech therapy
- Audiology diagnostic protocols (PTA and ABR)
- Collaboration and Teamwork
- Hearing and speech/language disorders intervention and rehabilitation
- Hearing aids trial
- Attending screening camps

**Additional Skills**
- Oro-motor exercises
- Knowledge about Sensory integration therapy.
- Good patient evaluation skills.
- **Effective communication skills in Kannada Language**

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
