**QUALIFICATION : POST GRADUATION IN NUTRITION & DIETETICS**
**EXPERIENCE : 2-5 YEARS**
**DUTY HOURS : AS PER SCHEDULED REQUIREMENTS**
- **JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Key areas of responsibility**:
1. In Patient Department: To take daily I.P.D. Rounds and plan the diets for the patients.

a. To give diet counseling to patients in I.P.D. & O.P.D.
b. To taste food prepared for the patients.
c. To supervise tray laying.
d. To meet all new admission.
e. To follow the I.P.D. Flow Process.
f. To fill all the records for I.P.D. flow process.
- 2. Patient Care: Plan menus for I.P.D. Patients.
a. To make proper diet plan for patients according to Medical Coordinator.
b. Educate the discharge patients & family about the diet to be taken.
- 3. Process / Documentation:
a. Generate & Supervise the Dietetics Department.
b. To provide strategic inputs to improve the functioning of the department.
c. To develop I.P.D. Patient flow.
d. Develop patient education material.
e. Implementation & Documentation of N.A.B.H. Policies.
- 4. To give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants / respective department for the same.
5. To maintain appropriate departmental documentation.
6. To treat all communication about patients, staff, and other organizational business confidentially.
7. To be involved in quality Assurance / Quality control activities.
8. To perform all the jobs as may be assigned due to exigencies of work.
9. Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement.
