10+ years demonstrated strong expert level technical experience in working with Citrix, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), AWS, VMWare, Nutanix Xi Frame
- Strong experience in troubleshooting VDI deployments
- PowerShell scripting is required
- End-user services domain and associated technical expertise in the following areas: VDI, cloud VDI, and Application Virtualization, workplace automation
- Experience with installation, management, operations, administration and support of the hardware and software that provide secure access to the Enterprise Compute systems that require it (e.g., Citrix Metaframe, virtual desktops, Microsoft Terminal Services).
- Solution Planning and implementation of VDI - Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVAD)
- Understanding of UX monitoring solutions viz ControlUP, SysTrack
- Develop detailed implementation guidelines, document, process, and use templatized approaches for new and old customer opportunities.
- Provide advanced technical support, root cause analysis, monitoring, and management of the Citrix VDI infrastructure.
- Manage the Citrix Workspace labs and ensure it's always up to date with the latest features.
- Work with various stakeholders to make sure that the client's policies & devices always up to date and are implemented across the enterprise
- Enable enterprise-wide implementation of Cloud Workspace solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and implementation guides as needed to support the Citrix VDI environment.
- Provide recommendations for optimization and assist with implementation of any improvements identified
- Ad-Hoc Training for client's IT teams
- Provide post-implementation support services as required
- Implement campaigns for phased migrations
- Develop, document, maintain, and continuously improve Procedures for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Support Services in accordance with Policies
- Install, manage, maintain and support remote access Equipment and Software for in scope components for VDI
- Provide Virtual Desktop technical support using for Level 1, Level 1.5, Level 2, and Level 3 support
- Provide image creation, deployment, and management for Virtual Desktops in accordance with Customer Policies and Vendor Procedures
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Certification(s) from OEM providers (e.g., VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft Azure, etc.)
