Job Description: Warehouse Worker

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against invoices or other documents.
- Sort, stack, and store items in designated areas within the warehouse.
- Organize and maintain inventory records and ensure accuracy of inventory counts.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packaging items securely and labeling packages appropriately.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions or damages.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Physical Demands:

- Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including cold or hot temperatures.
