As a Computer Operator you will be on the technical frontline - performing batch operations as per service agreements, analyzing first-level issues across systems, and resolving/routing issues as appropriate. You will also have the opportunity to develop support system management processes specific to customer requirements, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service to our customers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in Mainframe Operations
- Manage production operating system resource availability
- Monitor production operating system, and devices
- Execute recovery procedures for production operating systems and devices
- Perform automated startup and shutdown of the production operating system
- Execute production subsystem (e.g. IMS, CICS, DB2, IDMS) started tasks restarts
- Should have OPC and Control M Tool knowledge
- Monitor scheduled batch jobs

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Check each system for outstanding messages and or batch abends on a regular basis.
- Scan batch output to find actual cause of failure.
- Able Identify task or issues that can be improved and send ticket to correct team.
- Able to determine quickly the severity of a problem and make appropriate escalations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and consistently with all levels of the organization, and to work independently without direct supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details
