Sociology Faculty

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach online courses in sociology, including but not limited to Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, and specialty electives.
- Facilitate learning through engaging content delivery, timely feedback, and meaningful discussions in a virtual environment.
- Use the institution’s learning management system (LMS) to post materials, manage grades, and communicate with students.
- Develop or revise online course content in collaboration with the curriculum team.
- Maintain weekly office hours and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback aligned with course learning outcomes.
- Participate in virtual faculty meetings, training, and professional development as required.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Sociology from an accredited institution.
- At least one year of teaching experience, preferably in an online or remote setting.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
