**Position**: Security Guard

**Location**: Mogappair, Adyar

**Job Summary**:
The Security Guard will maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, and responding to security incidents promptly and professionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Access Control**: Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized entry.
- **Patrols**: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, inspecting buildings, gates, and fence lines to identify and report any security risks, unauthorized access, or safety hazards.
- **Surveillance**: Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and security breaches.
- **Incident Response**: Respond promptly to alarms and security incidents, including theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other emergencies.
- **Emergency Management**: Assist in evacuation processes during emergencies, ensuring the safety of all employees and visitors.
- **Report Writing**: Document incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches in a detailed report, submitting it to the supervisor as required.
- **Customer Service**: Provide directions and information to visitors while maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
- **Property Protection**: Prevent damage and loss to company assets by reporting any unsafe conditions and preventing unauthorized removal of items.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all security protocols, company policies, and local regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Prior experience as a security guard or in a related role is preferred.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: Security guard license/certification may be required depending on local regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Good observational and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of security equipment, such as CCTV and alarm systems
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and respond quickly to emergencies.

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to stay focused and vigilant in maintaining security standards.
