**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, inspect, maintain and repair hospital electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and power systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems and medical equipment (e.g., UPS, patient monitors, surgical lights, oxygen panels).
- Maintain and service backup generators, inverters, and battery systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical hospital equipment, such as ventilators, operation theatre equipment, ICU systems, etc.
- Coordinate with biomedical engineering teams for joint maintenance of electro-medical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to safety codes and hospital policies.
- Maintain records of inspections, repairs, and equipment servicing.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls or system failures during and after working hours as needed.
- Comply with health and safety standards, infection control policies, and electrical regulations.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
- Valid electrician license or certification (as per local/state requirements).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Knowledge of electrical safety codes and standards.
- Hands-on experience with hospital systems like HT/LT panels, DG sets, UPS, nurse call systems, and BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to on-call emergencies.

**Preferred**:

- Familiarity with biomedical devices and hospital infrastructure.
- Experience in coordinating with vendors for maintenance and procurement.
- AC knowledge
