**Job Summary**:
The Billing and Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the cost and quantity aspects of construction projects. This includes accurately estimating quantities of materials, labor, and resources, preparing and reviewing bills and invoices, conducting cost control, and ensuring the project stays within the approved budget. They will also play a key role in verifying construction work completed and ensuring it matches project specifications, as well as managing subcontractor costs and ensuring that payments are made in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for PEB projects, considering all materials, labor, and equipment.
- Work closely with the project team to develop accurate and realistic budgets.
- Analyze PEB project drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine material requirements and quantities.
- Measure and calculate quantities of materials and resources required for the construction project.
- Ensure that all quantities are documented and quantified accurately to facilitate material ordering and procurement.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with the planned quantities.
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices for clients based on the terms outlined in the contract.
- Issue progress claims and verify that work completed on-site matches the invoiced amount.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure proper billing for subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Track project expenses and maintain financial records to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Monitor costs related to labor, materials, and equipment to prevent overrun.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising project quality and deadlines.
- Review and assess contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to.
- Manage variations, claims, and disputes, providing advice on contractual obligations.
- Negotiate and prepare final accounts for contractors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts, orders, and financial documentation.
- Provide regular cost and progress reports to project managers, clients, and senior management.
- Track changes in the scope of work and adjust budgets and schedules accordingly.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve any billing or quantity-related issues.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, PEB Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering a related field.

**Experience**:
At least 3-5 years of experience in PEB quantity surveying, cost estimation, or billing for PEB projects.

Strong understanding of construction processes, cost control, and contract management.

**Skills**:
Proficient in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, WinQS, or other relevant platforms).

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**How to apply**

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
