The ideal person must be able to work with our large base of customers by delivering quality optical care and outstanding and friendly customer service. You must be able to assist patients with eyeglasses fittings, eyewear recommendations, and other optical dispensing. You must also possess strong sales skills by demonstrating a high level of knowledge about our products and determining our patients’ needs for eyewear so you can recommend specific accessories or enhancements for glasses. Moreover, each eyepiece in store is of utmost importance to us and has to be treated with care and handled well.
**Responsibilities**:
- Handles counter sales.
- Optician dispensing spectacles, lenses and sunglasses.
- Work in the optical store Technical Knowledge needed Use prescription information from the doctor and the patient’s preferences, face shape, and other factors to help select the appropriate pair of eyeglasses, frames, and lenses.
- Give the patient product recommendations based on their vision needs and lifestyle, such as frame selection, lens material, and various coatings.
- Take accurate measurements/centration of each patient’s face and optical details to ensure a comfortable and proper fit.
- Maintain a clean and visually appealing daily optical display by organizing the stock of eyeglasses, sunglasses, and accessories.
- Complete additional office tasks regularly such as preparing paperwork for patient payments, ordering inventory, sales updates, service updates, and tracking orders in the system.
**Job Skills & Qualifications Required**:
- Certified or licensed as an optician
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience: 2-3 years experience in Retail Optician counter sales
- **Job Type: Work from the store Location: No 84, NR Road, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560002**:
- **Work Timings: 10.30 AM to 7 PM (Monday to Saturday)**:
- Salary**:Rs.18000 to RS.22000 + Rs.2000 Conveyance per month.**:
