**Position Title**: Faculty - International Relations and Internal Security
**Location**: 5B, Pusa Rd, opp. to Metro Pillar no. 110, near Karol Bagh Metro New Delhi-110060
**Reports to**: Academic Head
**Contract Type**: Part-Time

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic **faculty** member with a strong academic foundation in **International Relations** and **Internal Security** to join our institution. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about global affairs, security studies, and teaching. As a **new faculty member**, you will be expected to support the development and delivery of engaging coursework, contribute to research, and assist students in their academic journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Course Delivery**:

- Assist in teaching undergraduate or postgraduate courses on topics like **International Relations Theory**, **Global Politics**, **Security Studies**, **International Law**, and **Internal Security** (covering areas such as counterterrorism, border security, and cyber threats).
- Prepare and deliver lectures, seminars, and discussions under the supervision of senior faculty or department heads.
- Facilitate interactive classroom discussions and encourage student participation on global political and security issues.
- Help develop course materials (syllabi, reading lists, PowerPoints) and assignments in line with academic standards.
- **Student Support and Mentorship**:

- Assist students during office hours, providing academic advice and answering questions related to course content.
- Guide students with research projects or papers on international relations or internal security topics.
- Evaluate student progress by grading assignments, quizzes, and exams under the direction of senior faculty members.
- **Research Assistance**:

- Conduct research in areas related to international relations and internal security, contributing to ongoing academic projects.
- Stay updated with current developments in global politics, international relations, and security studies.
- Assist senior faculty in preparing research papers, reports, or academic articles for publication.
- **Curriculum Development and Administration**:

- Collaborate with senior faculty in developing and updating the curriculum for International Relations and Internal Security courses.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic discussions to stay informed about curriculum improvements and student needs.
- Assist in managing course-related administrative duties like maintaining attendance, preparing course documents, and submitting grades.
- **Professional Development**:

- Engage in continuous learning by attending workshops, seminars, or conferences on International Relations and security-related topics.
- Seek mentorship from senior faculty to improve teaching skills and academic expertise.
- Actively participate in department initiatives aimed at improving the teaching and learning experience.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Master’s degree in **International Relations**, **Political Science**, **Security Studies**, **Public Policy**, or a related field (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Familiarity with key theories, concepts, and practices in international relations and security studies.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in an accessible manner.
- Enthusiasm for teaching and a willingness to learn and grow in an academic environment.
- Ability to work well with students, offering both academic support and mentorship.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to stay informed about current global affairs and security concerns.
- Basic proficiency in digital tools and technologies used in teaching (e.g., Microsoft Office, online learning platforms like Moodle or Zoom).
