Hostel Warden

Kanha Makhan Public School, Mathura is hiring for Hostel Warden.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the daily activities within the hostel, including meal times, study periods, and recreational activities.
- Enforce discipline and maintain order among students, ensuring adherence to hostel rules and school policies.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to students, addressing any personal, academic, or behavioral concerns.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hostel facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance standards are upheld.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents within the hostel, taking appropriate action and notifying relevant authorities when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and any incidents or disciplinary actions taken.
- Communicate effectively with school administration, teachers, parents/guardians, and external stakeholders regarding hostel matters.
- Organize and oversee special events, outings, and activities for hostel residents to promote community building and social interaction.
- Collaborate with other school staff to support the overall well-being and development of students.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in student housing, safety protocols, and youth development to continually improve hostel operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a residential setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of child protection policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements related to student housing.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Commitment to upholding the values and ethos of the school community.

**Salary**: 20K to 25K

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
