**Description**

Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to support and execute civil design projects in the rapidly growing Energy department. Burns & McDonnell is inviting young and dynamic youth to participate in this great culture. Civil / Structural Engineers will be involved in the analysis and design of various structures & other civil-relatedactivities in power projects. This position allows you to challenge and grow professionally within one of the industry’s leading firms.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- 3D Modeling and 2D drafting of foundations and steel, general arrangement drawings using tools like REVIT (Structural) and AutoCAD to produce construction deliverables in 2D format, like
- Foundation detail drawings(piles, spread footing, etc.)
- Foundation plans and elevations
- Foundation sections and details
- Steel detail drawings
- Steel plans, elevations and sections
- Road layout and details
- Site grading and drains
- Location layout and key plan
- Bill of Quantities (BOQ) / Material Take-offs (MTOs)
- Underground pits
- Stairs and Ladders
- Willing to advance in career by taking increased engineering design responsibilities by working closely with the discipline lead engineer
- A committed team player able to work on their own initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good Communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to self-check and produce accurate work

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or ITICivil Draftsman
- Minimum 2 to 5years of experience in industrial/commercial design drafting, development of general arrangement drawings, foundation and steel layouts, Foundation detail drawings, steel connection drawings, and Modeling of steel and foundations
- Diagrammatic skills, 3D conceptual skills
- Working knowledge of Industrial and Commercial projects

Tools:

- 3D Tools: REVIT (Structural)
- 2D Tools: AutoCAD and MicroStation (Must)
- Coordination Tools: Navisworks, SPR
- Microsoft Office Tools - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
