Accounting & Office Executive

The Accounting & Office Executive is primarily responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining statutory books of accounts, and ensuring full compliance with Indian accounting standards. while also supporting general business operations, administration, and marketing activities. The role includes preparation of financial statements, handling GST and TDS filing& preparation of audit reports. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to assist across multiple areas of the business to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Record all journal entries, cash/bank entries, purchase/sales entries, and expenses on a daily basis.
- File monthly and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
- Reconcile input tax credit (ITC) and maintain GST ledgers
- Ensure proper documentation for tax filings and support tax audits.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally, SAP, or similar ERP.
- Prepare and format reports, memos, and internal documents.
- TDS calculations & Filings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining all office supplies, including stationery, pantry items, and other office necessities
- Oversee the maintenance and replacement of office equipment (e.g., printers, furniture), coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best prices, quality, and timely delivery.
- Help onboard new employees by preparing documents, setting up accounts, & arranging welcome kits.
- Support other departments by assisting with coordination, office administration, and any other tasks that contribute to the smooth functioning of the business.
**Qualifications & Requirements**:
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) or similar.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, and compliance.
- Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and GST.
- Experience using accounting software (like Tally or SAP).
- Knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, and GST compliance.
- Experience in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to take on tasks from other departments as needed.
- Interest in the waste management and sustainability industries is preferred.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
