The responsibilities of a dentist typically include:

- **Diagnosing Oral Conditions**: Identifying and diagnosing issues like cavities, gum disease, oral cancer, and other dental conditions through clinical examinations and X-rays.
- **Providing Treatment**: Performing dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and implants. They also treat gum disease and offer preventive care like fluoride treatments.
- **Patient Education**: Educating patients on oral hygiene practices, proper brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations to prevent dental issues.
- **Creating Treatment Plans**: Developing tailored treatment plans based on patients' dental health needs and goals, which may include restorative, cosmetic, or preventive treatments.
- **Performing Preventive Care**: Offering cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
- **Managing Pain and Anxiety**: Administering anesthesia or sedatives to manage pain during procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
- **Maintaining Dental Records**: Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of patients’ dental health, treatments, and medical histories.
- **Collaboration**: Working with dental hygienists, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- **Stay Updated on Advancements**: Continuously learning about new dental technologies, techniques, and treatment options to provide the best care.
- **Emergency Care**: Addressing urgent dental issues, such as injuries, abscesses, or sudden pain, and providing immediate treatment or referrals if necessary.

Dentists also manage their practice, which may include handling administrative tasks, overseeing staff, and ensuring the clinic meets all regulatory requirements.

A minimum of 6 years of experience is required.

Pay: ₹10,779.66 - ₹18,000.00 per month
