Preschool Helper

Preschool Assistants **support teachers in creating a nurturing and educational environment for young children**.

They help with classroom activities, supervise children during playtime, and assist in maintaining a safe and clean learning space.

Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning

To ensure that the welfare and safety of children is promoted with the setting and that any child protection concerns are always appropriately acted upon immediately.

To help ensure records are properly maintained and updated, e.g. daily attendance register, accident and incident book etc.

To help ensure that the pre-school is a safe environment for children, staff and others, that equipment is safe, standards of hygiene are high and safety procedures are implemented at all times.

To work as a team to help implement any recommendations made following regulatory inspections.

To contribute and to help implement all pre-school policies and procedures, e.g. register and signing out procedures, child protection, health and safety, confidentiality, food safety, setting hygiene etc.

**Essential criteria**

Proven experience of working in a pre-school setting.

Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of people including parents, committee, staff and children verbally and in writing.

A minimum of Level 3 early years education and childcare qualification or equivalent.

Sound understanding of child development and of children’s needs.

**Terms and conditions**

**Hours**:Mornings (8 am to 12 pm) plus team meetings and planning sessions.

**Salary**: Dependent on qualifications and experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹9,000.00 per month
