This is a remote position.

The Opportunity

Experience: 1+ years of experience

Nature of Employment: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

- Writing 80-90 articles per month (features, listicles, news or independently-sourced interviews)
- Working with a team of writers to ideate topics, developing a focused, data-driven content strategy with the Content Manager, and providing direction to new content ideas.
- Review content for factual accuracy and general accuracy of grammar and context. Ensuring that content is written as per Sportskeeda’s guidelines & checking spellings, grammar & scope of the text
- Pitch story ideas and assist the vertical lead with content strategy/plan for events.
- Track topics around the NFL via Google Trends and other tools
- All news within the shift should be covered within the mentioned time and nothing should be left for the next shift.
- Help with sourcing stories via podcasts, shows and tier 1 news outlets
- Stay updated with the latest news and developments around the NFL.
- Provide any other content-related assistance that may be required for any other articles/static pages
- Help in growing the NFL section of Sportskeeda.

**Requirements**:

- Content strategy, editing and topic ideation is a must-have skill.
- Staying updated with recent developments in and around the NFL - players, coaches, teams (especially top teams), etc.
- In-depth game knowledge - especially on tactics, trade movements, salary caps for teams, fantasy football and player contracts
- Knowledge of betting odds, spreads, and other match odds is a plus
- A personal network across the NFL ecosystem (players, coaches, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.
