**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Management**:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and products.

Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key vendors.

**Inventory Control**:
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.

Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.

Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems.

**Supplier Management**:
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and performance.

**Cost Management**:
Monitor and control purchasing budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs.

Analyze market trends and assess the impact on supply chain operations.

**Compliance and Reporting**:
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.

Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and inventory levels to senior management.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.

**Team Leadership**:
Lead and mentor a team of purchasing and inventory control staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team capabilities.

Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
