**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and maintain **VMC machines** to produce precision metal parts based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct regular inspections and measurements using precision instruments like calipers, micrometers, gauges, and others.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Record production data, maintain logs, and report deviations or machine malfunctions.
- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure all parts meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to optimize machine performance and output.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience as a VMC Operator or in a similar role.
- **Technical Knowledge**:

- Proficient in **CNC programming** and G-code interpretation.
- Strong understanding of **machining processes** and cutting tools.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Basic knowledge of **toolpath simulations** and optimization.
- Ability to read and interpret **technical drawings and blueprints**.
- Familiarity with **machine maintenance procedures**.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas** controllers.
- Knowledge of **5-axis machining**.
- Basic understanding of **CAD/CAM software**.

- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
