Mandatory

Strong background knowledge and hands-on experience on manual testing concepts, test case design techniques, SDLC models, Defect life cycle etc
Should have ability to create test cases, test plans, use cases, Requirement traceability matrix, defect reports
Should have ability to prepare test summary reports
Should have prior experience in using popular test management and defect management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, XRay, TestLink, Fogbugz, TestRail, HP ALM, MS Test Manager, Azure Devops etc
Should have good communication skills and have prior experience in participating in teleconferences with clients or any other stakeholders
Should have quick learning abilities

Job description

Design and develop test plans, test cases
Execute test cases
Defect reporting and retesting
Prepare test data and test environments
Participate in teleconference with clients
Prepare test summary reports
Be part of “Proof-of-concept” projects
Research and implement Best practices, testing trends and processes in projects
Mentor junior testers in the team
