**Job Overview**:
The Montessori School Chef is responsible for preparing nutritious, balanced meals for students and staff, while supporting Montessori principles of healthy choices and independence. The Chef will manage the kitchen, ensure meals cater to dietary needs, and maintain a clean, safe environment in compliance with food safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Meal Preparation**: Plan, prepare, and cook balanced meals and snacks, considering nutritional guidelines, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
- **Menu Planning**: Collaborate with the school administration to create diverse, child-friendly menus that meet Montessori values and promote healthy eating.
- **Health & Safety**: Maintain a clean kitchen, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- **Inventory & Budget Management**: Oversee food orders, manage inventory, and control costs to stay within budget.
- **Cater to Dietary Needs**: Prepare meals for children with specific dietary requirements (allergies, vegetarian, vegan, etc.).
- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and train any kitchen staff, ensuring they follow school standards and procedures.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Experience**: Culinary school graduate or equivalent experience in school kitchens preferred.
- **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of child nutrition, food safety, and health regulations.
- **Skills**: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- **Certification**: Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) required. First aid training is a plus.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy containers.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
