**QUALIFICATION**:

- GNM
- B.Sc. (Nursing) / M.Sc. (Nursing)

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 10 -15 years in the nursing fraternity

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Takeover of full hospital from night supervisors
- To check duty list of staff nurses every week, make changes in duty list if necessary & ensure nurse to patient ratio is maintained properly, adequate manpower is utilized & same is to be documented in sheet followed by making entry in the system
- To transfer temporarily the staff from other wards if necessary
- Inform problems to superiors
- To check review sheets (training to probation / probation to confirmation) and return to personnel department with final confirmation by nursing superintendent
- To inform staffs for doing yearly medical investigations after confirming from staff medical officer & HR
- To take regular hospital rounds
- Check crash cart trolley medications with Ambu, & other required equipment’s Autoclave, materials, etc.
- To Provides information to Sister In-charges about new recruits and any other important communication from N.S office & HR dept. and taking feedback on the same & reverting
- To perform nursing audit per week per ward as per check list
- Solve any problems in ward about staffs & housekeeping and escalate to the nursing superintendent as & when required
- Solve patient’s problems
- To check and sanction weekly, monthly medicine & surgical indent of wards
- If any problem with linen, consult department.
- To attend meeting with superiors if any
- Arrange hall for sister in-charges meeting & assist to nursing superintendent for writing the minutes of the meeting
- Assist Nursing superintendent for interview of new staff & selection.
- To check performance register is maintained properly & ensure documentation compliance
- Assist nursing superintendent for checking the staff for merit increments as per set criteria (Performance appraisals) like professional qualification, years of experience, attendance, job performance, attitude, trainings, Internal & external customer feedback
- To inform HR & administrator for transfer of staff from one ward to other
- To solve consultant’s problem about staff
- Inform superiors if any emergency or any untoward incident happened in the hospital
- Counseling of staff for any of the issues
- To ensure wards/depts. escalate their maintenance /biomedical related problem from the ward through EQM system.
- Oversees the hospital infection control practices.
- Liasoning with all departments like:

- Medical Administration
- HR / Personnel
- Maintenance
- Biomedical
- Reception / Billing /Doctors etc.

Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
