**The Opportunity**

As a Machine Learning Scientist - Speech, you will play a crucial role in advancing our voice technology solutions. You will work on enhancing voice features, optimizing user experiences in noisy environments, and improving streaming encoding/decoding to give our voice interfaces a competitive edge. This role involves hands-on experimentation, applied research, and close collaboration with engineering and product teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible in voice technology.

**What you will get to do**:

- Improve and enhance core voice features to elevate the overall user experience.
- Develop and implement techniques for noise reduction and speech enhancement to improve performance in challenging environments.
- Optimize streaming encoding/decoding to maintain the highest quality in real-time voice interactions.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience in speech processing and related fields.
- Expertise in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies.
- Strong foundation in signal processing, noise reduction, and other key aspects of voice technology.

**About the ML Team**

We are a strong 30+ member Machine Learning team with a focus on Speech and NLP. Our mission is to deliver the best of AI capabilities to revolutionize the world of Contact Centers through Observe.AI’s product offerings. We push the boundaries of Spoken Language Understanding to develop ML capabilities that power innovative product features for our customers, and our ML platform processes millions of contact center interactions per day.
