**Job Title**: Mridangam Artist / Instructor
**Location**: Perumbakkam

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform mridangam at concerts, cultural programs, and religious events.
- Provide one-on-one and group instruction to students (beginner to advanced levels).
- Develop lesson plans and practice schedules for students.
- Accompany vocal and instrumental Carnatic performances as a percussionist.
- Promote traditional Indian music and percussion through workshops and outreach programs.
- Participate in rehearsals, recordings, and collaborative music projects.
- Maintain and tune the mridangam regularly.

**Qualifications**:

- Formal training in mridangam under a recognized guru or institution.
- Minimum [X] years of experience in performing or teaching.
- Knowledge of Carnatic music theory and tala (rhythmic cycles).
- Ability to notate and teach compositions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with online teaching tools (if applicable).

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
