Fusion Middleware Administrator

Work with Oracle's world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle's Fusion Middleware Products & global infrastructure.

Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. Will perform administration and analysis for multiple production environments and recommend new and novel solutions to improve availability, performance, and supportability. This is an opportunity to bring a combination of deep technical knowledge with administration/analysis knowledge of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure to provide issue support to a wide range of complex production environment problems related to immense growth, scaling, demonstrating the cloud, extremely dedication, and high availability requirements.

Team members are recognized for Fusion Middleware (FMW) product and technology expertise mainly on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Gen-1 & Gen-2 and understanding of how they are applied to build customer solutions. They are called upon to create standards for architecture and sizing, help customers develop solutions to solve business problems, and develop the project and technical plans to upgrade software, modify configurations, change integration solutions, and add additional functionality.

The team has global membership and responds to customer requests and incidents around the clock, 7 days a week.

**Mandatory Skills**:
**SQL Proficiency**:Able to write SQL queries using Comparison, Arithmetic, Logical, and Membership Operators. Skilled in utilizing Group By, Order By, and Joins.

**API and Data Formats**:Familiarity with REST API, SOAP API, JSON, XML, and expertise in Data Parsing techniques.

**Logging Analytics**:Experienced in creating custom log sources, entities, and parsers (JSON, XML, REGEX). Knowledgeable about Log Explorer, detection rules, alarm definitions, and various visualization techniques such as link and cluster analysis.

**Good-to-Have Skills (Task Distributable)**:
**Integration Understanding**:Capable of comprehending and visualizing functional integration workflows using technologies like OIC, ODI, OSB, MFT, and SOA. **This task can be handled by an Integration Specialist.**

**OCI Understanding**:Proficiency in IAM (Identity and Access Management) policies, Monitoring, and Logging Analytics within OCI. **Typically managed by an OCI Administrator.**

**Linux Command-Line Proficiency**:Familiarity with Linux command-line operations is preferred and can be managed by individuals with Linux expertise.

**SaaS Functional Knowledge**:High-level understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). Typically **handled by a SaaS Functional Expert **.

Solid understanding of Platform as a service (PaaS) preferably Oracle SOA Cloud Service, Java Cloud Service, and various Marketplace offerings in Oracle
- Fusion Middleware 11g and 12c: WebCenter Suite including Content and Imaging, SOA Suite, OIC, MFT, OSB, Weblogic, BPM Suite, WebCenter Sites
- Coordinate, fix, integrate, manage via CLI and Fusion Middleware Control, plan/complete patching and major upgrades. Triage and resolve critical outage and availability incidents for the FMW products.
- Working knowledge of the Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) service model of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or any similar cloud providers. knowledge of key concepts like Compute, Storage, networking, Security & Identity, and databases.
- Automation of various IaaS and PaaS offerings using REST APIs and Inbuilt CLIs for Cloud Infrastructure.
- Technical proficiency in Oracle Middleware components and Linux.
- Good knowledge in Cloud platform. Preferably on OCI.
- Should be able to fix independently any issues in WebLogic installation, configuration, and production instance.
- Good Administration knowledge of IDCS (Oracle Identity Cloud Service)
- Good Oracle Database administration knowledge
- Linux operation system knowledge and Linux Scripting knowledge
- Basic Networking knowledge and experience in using Load Balance tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
- Should have experience in supporting Production environments.
- Support and fix of Non-Prod & Production environments.
- Creation/deployment of new environments, systems, projects, etc
- First response for alerts, Monitoring alerts, Service Requests, Sev.1 Incidents.
- Knowledge of Capacity planning & Hardware requests
- Ensure production security standards are followed.
- Ensure monitoring is robust and effective.
- Zero downtime deployments and a high availability attitude
- Required to work in shifts including night shifts and to provide on-call support outside business hours including weekends.
