**Job Description: Data Entry Operator - Accounts**

**Position**: Data Entry Operator - Accounts

**Experience**: 2-4 years

**Software Knowledge**: Tally

**Location**:Hyderabad

**Reports to**: Sr. Accounts Manager

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurately enter financial data, such as invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries, into Tally software.
- Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded properly and in accordance with company accounting policies.
- Operate Tally software to manage financial transactions, reports, and reconciliations.
- Generate and review financial statements, reports, and other documents for discrepancies or errors.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure that all payments and receipts are accurately reflected in the Tally system.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of cash and credit transactions.
- Process bills, invoices, and payments to vendors and customers.
- Ensure all financial records are kept up-to-date and comply with relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
- Assist with audits and ensure financial data is ready for review when required.
- Work closely with the accounting and finance team to assist with day-to-day operations.
- Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding payments and other financial matters.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years of experience in data entry for accounting and finance roles.
- Must have hands-on experience with **Tally ERP** and its features.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable management.
- Ability to accurately input large volumes of financial data without errors.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of GST, VAT, and other tax-related matters is a plus.
