Your role involves a combination of creativity, technical knowledge, and project management skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate and measure spaces, and plan the layout and organization of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to optimize functionality and flow.
- Create design concepts and mood boards that incorporate the client's vision, style, and functional needs. Present these concepts for client approval.
- Choose appropriate materials, finishes, colors, and textures to achieve the desired look and feel, while considering durability, safety, and budget constraints.
- Select and source furniture, lighting, fixtures, and decorative elements that complement the design concept and fit within the space.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that the design is implemented as planned. Oversee the construction or renovation process.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and design documents to communicate the design intent to contractors and builders.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field is typically required.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D modeling tools, etc.
- Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
