Business Admission Counselor Job Description

**Reports to**: Director of Admissions or Admissions Manager
**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment and Outreach**:
- Attend business-related recruitment events, such as college fairs, webinars, and information sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with high Student ,Parents and corporate partners to attract top-tier applicants.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment campaigns, virtual or in-person open houses, and presentations to generate interest in business programs.
- **Evaluation**:
- Assess the academic qualifications, professional background, Trading record and portfolio.
- Make admissions decisions based on established criteria.
- **Student Counseling and Guidance**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective business students, answering questions about admissions, program offerings, career outcomes,.
- Provide guidance on program options, admissions timelines, and required materials.
- **Marketing and Promotion**:
- Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, online content, and social media, to promote the business programs.
- Share success stories and testimonials of current students and alumni to attract applicants.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure consistent messaging regarding the business school’s offerings.
- **Interviewing and Selection**:
- **Follow-Up and Decision Communication**:
- Communicate admission decisions to applicants, providing clear instructions for the next steps if admitted.
- Assist admitted students with the enrollment process, including advising them on course registration, orientation, and connecting with academic advisors.
- Ensure weekly and monthly budget is achieved
- ensure no of registration as per flow of enquiry
- **Data Management and Reporting**:
- Support the admissions team in analyzing data and creating reports to improve recruitment strategies and outcomes.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:
- Work closely with faculty members, program directors, and the business school leadership team to align recruitment strategies with institutional goals.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss recruitment progress, challenges, and new initiatives.
- Assist the admissions office with general duties, such as event planning, applicant data entry, and program coordination.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, marketing, communications, or a related field (required).
- A master's degree in business or a related field is a plus (particularly for graduate business programs).
- **Experience**:
- Previous experience in higher education admissions, student counseling, or business development is preferred.
- Experience working with prospective students, especially in business or graduate-level programs, is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with admission requirements for business programs and entrance exams (e.g., GMAT, GRE) is beneficial.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex admissions processes and program details.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with prospective students, parents, and business professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CRM systems and admissions software.
- Public speaking and presentation skills for recruitment events and information sessions.

**Working Conditions**:
- **Schedule**: Full-time position with flexibility for evening or weekend hours as needed for recruitment events and information sessions.
- **Location**: Primarily on-campus, but travel may be required for recruitment events, including visits to high schools, conferences, and fairs.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to travel and attend events, carry promotional materials, and occasionally stand or sit for extended periods.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
