**Position**: Research Associate

Zacks Investment Research maintains a database of approximately 100,000 contacts who work at institutional investment organizations. These include mutual fund management companies, hedge funds, wealth managers, investment advisors, pension funds, and endowments/charities. Over time the contacts change roles, titles, and companies. Researchers are responsible for maintaining the records for these contacts and ensuring the information on their records is up to date. When our records are incomplete or outdated, researchers will use a combination of internet research, privately obtained data, and publicly available sources to update the records. As the capital markets industry continues to evolve, researchers will continue to proactively learn as much as possible about the industry.

Associate will be responsible for the following basic job roles:

- Use internet research to maintain the accuracy of investment industry contact records.
- Conduct research using research techniques and industry standard primary research methods.
- Internet research, data entry, database maintenance.
- Deliver projects on time and maintain high quality standards of the deliverables.
- Actively participate in formal and informal knowledge sharing sessions.

**Required**
- Strong research and data analysis skills.
- Desire to learn more about the capital markets and asset management industries.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and self-educate when required.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written communication abilities.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.

**Good to have, but not necessary**
- At least 1-to-2-year experience working in Capital Markets.
- Knowledge of mutual fund, hedge funds, ETFs
- Familiarity with investment strategies
- Typing speed of 40wpm (uncorrected/ “raw”).

**Salary**: ₹225,000.00 - ₹275,000.00 per year
