**Job Title**: Intern - Biodiesel
**Department**: Quality/Production
**Location**: MOHAN, UNNAO (U.P.)
**Reports To**: General Manager
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the biodiesel production unit.
- Monitor and control production parameters to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Supervise the handling and processing of raw materials (feedstock, catalysts, methanol, etc.).
- Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Document production data, generate reports, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
- Support process optimization initiatives to improve yield and reduce waste.
- Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvements.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in biodiesel production, chemical manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Knowledge of biodiesel production processes, feedstock processing, and transesterification reactions.
- Familiarity with industrial safety protocols and environmental compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production monitoring software.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of ASTM and EN standards for biodiesel quality.
- Understanding of waste management and sustainable production techniques.
