**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-8 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proven experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts for automotive components.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong and open communication skills both verbal and written.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Supplier Selection**:Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers for wipers and latches, considering factors such as price, quality, lead times, capacity, and financial stability. This includes conducting thorough supplier audits and assessments.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:Negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Develop and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This includes managing contract renewals and amendments.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and open communication. Regularly monitor supplier performance against agreed-upon KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Address supplier performance issues promptly and effectively.
- **Cost Reduction and Optimization**:Continuously identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality and on-time delivery. Implement cost-saving strategies, such as negotiating lower prices, optimizing order quantities, and exploring alternative sourcing options.
- **Quality Control**:Ensure that all purchased parts meet or exceed company quality standards. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.
- **Inventory Management**:Collaborate with inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs. Forecast future demand to optimize purchasing decisions.
- **Reporting and Analysis**:Generate regular reports on purchasing activities, including spending, supplier performance, and cost savings. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- **Market Analysis**:Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and technological advancements in the automotive industry, particularly regarding wipers, latches, and window regulators.
