Communication skills both verbal and written, Knowledge of monitoring utilities like zabbix, Ticketing tool remedy (JIRA)

Knowledge of Azure is essential

Linux Logical Volume Management

Performing remote connections and file transferring using (TELNET and FTP) utilities

Server to client files sharing using NFS

Monitoring Virtual memory, adding additional swap space as needed.

Troubleshoot file system crash, disk space problems, and network problems.

Process administration and management like monitoring, start/stop/kill various processes/sub process.

Installation/Upgrade, System Startup & System Shutdown as needed.

Monitor System Performance Parameters using iostat, vmstat & sar.

Strong understanding of Redhat LINUX installation and server maintenance & troubleshooting.

Preformed OS patches on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL v6, 7 & 8) Advance servers

Monitored performance alarms including disk space, CPU utilization, and service status using vCenter.

The change management process to be followed for any changes in the production environment.

Creating, Setup and administered all user accounts on Linux & Unix flavours.

Creating and adding swap space online.

Handling Virtual machines using VMWare Technology including VM Builds.

Working Knowledge of Patch and package management using yum, rpm, zypper etc.

Basics knowledge of shell scripting & Ansible knowledge
