Auto Electrician

**Position Overview**: The Auto Electrician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of various types of vehicles. This includes working on wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, lights, and other electronic components to ensure vehicles operate reliably and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Diagnosis and Repair**:

- Inspect vehicle electrical systems to identify issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint problems.
- Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, relays, and other electrical components.
- **Maintenance and Installation**:

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.
- Install new electrical systems and components, such as GPS units, sound systems, and lighting.
- Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- **Testing and Troubleshooting**:

- Test the functionality of electrical systems using specialized equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ensure all repairs and installations are tested and functioning properly before returning the vehicle to the customer.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and hours worked.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in vehicle electrical systems and repair techniques.
- **Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and repair options.
- Provide estimates for repair costs and timelines.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in automotive electrical systems or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience as an auto electrician or in a similar role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is typically performed in a workshop or garage environment.
- The position may involve lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
- Safety precautions, including the use of protective gear, are required due to exposure to electrical hazards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability
