Music Teacher

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that support the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of preprimary students.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and child-centered classroom environment where each child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers through effective communication, collaboration, and partnership in the education process.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and resources to engage young learners in hands-on, experiential learning experiences that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Integrate play-based learning opportunities into daily routines and curriculum to support language development, literacy skills, numeracy concepts, and socio-emotional growth.
- Observe and assess student progress and development, documenting milestones and identifying areas for individualized support or enrichment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create a cohesive and cohesive preprimary program that aligns with school goals, curriculum standards, and best practices in early childhood education.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety regulations and promotes independence, responsibility, and self-care skills.
- Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and training sessions to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on current research and trends in early childhood education, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom, celebrating and respecting the unique backgrounds, cultures, and abilities of each child and family.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Music
- Early Childhood Teacher certification or licensure from a recognized institution.
- Proven experience working with young children in a preprimary or early childhood education setting, with a deep understanding of child development principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for teaching and learning, with the ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs, interests, and learning styles of young learners.
- Knowledge of play-based learning approaches, emergent curriculum, and developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and joy in learning.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth, reflection, and collaboration with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
