**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Design, develop and maintain next-gen DevOps processes comprising several stages

including plan, code, build, test, release, deploy, operate and monitor.
- Design, build and operate tools to enhance developer productivity.
- Responsible for designing and providing solutions for automation of CI/CD setup for

Container deployments.
- Troubleshoots business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information (for

example, issue, impact, criticality, a possible root cause), engaging support teams to assist in the resolution of issues, formulating an action plan, directing actions as designated in the plan, interpreting the results to determine further action, perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrence of issues; and completing online documentation.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions are designed with customer user experience, scale/performance, and operability in mind
- Closely work with Dev & QA teams in adopting best practices in all aspects of design, development, and testing.
- Design and implement platforms for monitoring, log processing, metrics collection, and data visualization.

**Prerequisites**

BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field with 2-5 years of working experience

**Programming Languages**: Should be fluent in one or more of the specified languages and

be able to write Web APIs running in a docker container.

Required: Python/ JavaScript

**Operating Systems**:Should have command over the operating system and demonstrable

experience in working on remote servers.

Required: Linux, Ubuntu

**DevOps Skills**:

- Should be able to create and deploy docker containers in EC2, ECS,

demonstrate working experience with Terraform, Git, and public cloud

Required - Docker, ECS, Ansible, Terraform, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure), Git

& release, and performance engineering

Required - Jenkins, Monitoring & Alerting (preferably Zabbix and Graylog), Performance

Engineering

**Good To Have - **Grafana, InfluxDB, ELK, MySQL, MongoDB, Messaging Systems

In the Assurance business, our key channel partners include Tata Croma, Xiaomi, HDB Finance (HDFC's NBFC), Cashify, Quikr, etc.

In the Insurance space, we enable various brokers and agents to sell health, life and motor insurance plans by using our platform BimaBoss.in. We also enable various fintechs/NBFC/microfinance/retail institutions to offer insurance plans to their customers via BlackSwan - our Insurance API platform.

Zopper is a digital insurance broker looking to hire people for its Agency/POSP channel. Zopper is a technology company at the core and has a well developed insurance aggregation platform which the agents use to source policies.
