Structured hybrid role:
Introduction:
The role holder will be responsible for end to end management of testing deliveries at a project level and would be required to work closely with various stakeholders and component teams to ensure testing activities are carried out as per laid down Barclays policies.

What will you be doing?
- Experience of the BFSI domain.
- Responsible for managing the detailed testing preparation through the creation of test scenarios and cases, utilizing specification techniques (black box and white box) and use available test basis, defined quality characteristics against the test plan
- Responsible for managing the detailed testing preparation of Functional and Performance Test Plan and road map.
- Manage Sign-off/Peer Review of all Tests to ensure they comply with test strategy and are at the right level of quality
- Management of the Creation, execution and maintenance of regression test packs, test scripts, test data definitions and test results is also a requirement of this role for every change/release
- Manage all technical issues arising during internal system testing and end to end testing during the various test phases, (environments, interfaces, data etc) with the relevant teams
- Coordinate with Shared services like NFT and automation on need basis and ensure their deliveries are aligned to project/program timelines
- Provide functional support to UAT testers on preparation of test data, test scenarios and defect management.
- Get involved in requirement gathering stage and lead static testing.
- Well versed with methodologies such as Agile/Kanban/Hybrid.
- Should be well versed with implementation and designing of the TDD & BDD using Selenium framework.
- Should have experience in story point estimation technique or business case estimation.
- Well versed with setting-up Test Environment with required test data & appropriate level of access
- Strong in SQL/PL-SQL & Unix
- Experience of converting BA stories into test scenarios/cases.
- Well versed with CI/CD pipeline
- Well versed with test management tool i.e. Quality Center/JIRA
- Well versed with defect lifecycle

What we’re looking for:

- Experience of the BFSI domain.
- Graduate and above, preferably in computer science
- Working knowledge of SQL - writing simple to medium complexity queries
- Hands on experience in automation & scripting - Java/Python
- Good Knowledge of Performance Testing and Management
- Hands on experience in UI automation & scripting - Java/Python
- Relevant experience in API automation testing using Python/Java -Selenium based or any other API centric gherkins(BDD) based framework

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Strong Experience as Automation tester
- Technical background on Java/Python and/or SQL
- Automation experience on Selenium/Python
- Well versed with CI/CD pipeline
- Experience on PubSub model will be advantage
- Good knowledge of banking domain
