Optometrist

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Door to door eye check up and selling different eye wear to costumers.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to evaluate the patient's vision, eye health, and visual perception
- Diagnose and treat common eye conditions, such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia
- Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other visual aids to improve the patient's vision
- Detect and manage eye diseases, such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care to patients who have undergone eye surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, to provide coordinated care to patients
- Educate patients about proper eye care and vision hygiene
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients

**Qualifications**:

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school
- State license to practice optometry
- Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, visual perception, and ocular diseases
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
- Willingness to continue education and stay current with advancements in optometry

**Working Conditions**:
Optometrists typically work in private practices, eye clinics, or hospitals. They may work regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient schedules. Optometrists may spend extended periods standing, bending, and performing eye examinations.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
