The Twin Screw Compounding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining twin screw extruders to produce high-quality compounded materials, such as plastic resins, masterbatches, and specialty polymer blends. The operator ensures production runs efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Machine Operation & Setup**:

- Operate and monitor twin screw compounding machines during production.
- Set up and adjust machine parameters such as speed, temperature, and feed rates to ensure optimal performance.
- Load raw materials (resins, additives, fillers, and pigments) into the feeder according to formulation requirements.
- Conduct machine startups, shutdowns, and product changeovers as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

**2. Quality Control & Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct routine quality checks, including melt flow index, density, moisture content, and color matching.
- Identify and troubleshoot machine or process issues such as material degradation, overheating, poor dispersion, or contamination.
- Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent product quality.

**3. Maintenance & Safety Compliance**:

- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of extruders, feeders, and related equipment.
- Ensure work area and machinery comply with safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
- Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

**4. Record Keeping & Reporting**:

- Maintain production logs, batch reports, and downtime records.
- Report any mechanical or process issues to the maintenance team and supervisors.
- Monitor raw material consumption and coordinate with inventory personnel for restocking.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in manufacturing or plastics processing are a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in plastic extrusion, compounding, or a similar manufacturing role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Understanding of twin screw extruder operation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of polymer processing, additives, and compounding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, SOPs, and safety guidelines.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a factory environment with exposure to heat, noise, and raw materials.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

**Work Schedule & Conditions**:

- Full-time position with shift work (morning, evening, or night shifts).
- Overtime may be required depending on production demands.

**Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory)**:

- Prior experience with PLC-controlled extruders.
- Forklift operation certification.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
