Dietitian Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Dietitian with a minimum of 2yrs

experience in diabetes management and care. You will be an excellent communicator and

ideally have experience in providing clinical care in both face to face and remote

environments. The role involves comprehensive management of type 2 diabetes patients

and supporting them to achieve diabetes remission.

Job responsibilities:
Provide thorough initial assessment to all patients through Face-to-face/ remote/ video

consultations

Deliver personalized treatment plan supporting patients to achieve lifelong dietary

behaviour change based on the initial assessment

Offer practical suggestions to patients and encourage them to achieve diabetes

remission through diet and lifestyle changes.

Set SMART goals and motivate patients to work towards achieving them

Use motivational interviewing and behaviour change communication skills to influence

patients in their journey towards diabetes remission

Support health coaches and wider team on day-to-day basis

Handle sensitive data with great attention to detail

Appropriately manage clinical risk when it arises during clinical practice, while having

recourse to other professionals for guidance

Accurately input data into our system to ensure coherent patient pathway

Work as a part of the multi-disciplinary team offering regular feedbacks to the team on

patient’s progress.

Undergo training to enhance knowledge on diabetes management and remission

Maintain good inter-personal relationship with other members of the team

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Proficient with using technology specifically digital record keeping

A mature, confident and caring manner

Ability to interact well with people from a wide range of backgrounds

Ability to generate written communication which is relevant, concise, accurate and

legible

Evidence of excellent verbal communication skills at all levels

You will be supported by a team of specialist clinicians throughout the program and

provided with relevant training to help you develop in the role.

Qualifications:

- Essential:
Qualified dietitian with a UG/PG degree in Dietetics

Minimum 2yrs of experience in clinical dietetics

Ability to communicate in English fluently

Desirable:
Experience in diabetes management

Proficient with one or two regional languages (Kannada/ Telugu/ Tamil/ Hindi)
