Our Company, Orchid Shoes located at Mankoli, Thane is into the manufacturing of Women’s shoes and supply chain partners to domestic brands such as Metro Shoes, Liberty, and woodland.

We are looking for a Footwear Merchandiser who would overlook Client changes in samples, quality, and new raw material procurement?

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Sourcing of raw material such as Leather of different selections from different tanneries
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies.
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
- Represent companies in negotiating credit terms and formulating policies with suppliers.
- Arrange for disposal of surplus materials
- To review Vendor performance of Supply and ensure timely deliveries of raw material.
- To co-ordinate with Production manager and Inventory manager to ensure Production flow runs smooth
- To Handle Client requirements in Product samples, Quality testing, and Fit trials.
- To assist the Production team in achieving desired quality benchmarks and resolving technical issues.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelors or Masters from FDDI, NIFT, CFTI or any
- Has advanced skills in Microsoft Excel sheets and automation
- Should know about various footwear constructions and good knowledge about Leather
- Should have command over English
- Must have worked at least as a junior Merchandiser in a manufacturing industry
- Must have Negotiation Skills
- Work Experience in Purchase Department : 3 - 5 years
- Salary: 3.8 - 4.8 Lacs P.A
- Work Timings: 9.00 A.M - 6.00 P.M
